Field operations reporting

See where the field team's time goes.

A real 14-day utilization report combines technician time-clock entries with started and completed visits. It shows measured hours and visit counts without assigning a made-up employee grade.

  • Visits started in the last 14 days
  • Clocked shift hours per technician
  • Time spent on jobs
  • Job hours divided by shift hours

Illustrative layout; production values come from tenant-scoped visits and time entries.

Technician reporting is only useful when the source data is trustworthy. SplashIQ joins authenticated time-clock entries with visit timestamps and attributes both to the technician who performed the work.

The inherited local-storage scorecards have been removed from production. Team membership now comes from workspace roles, and the utilization report comes from tenant-scoped database records.

Real identities

Owners invite technicians from the Team page. Each person signs in separately, so visits, chemistry, notes and time entries remain attributable and access can be revoked centrally.

Operational facts

The report shows visit count, shift hours, job hours and calculated utilization. It does not infer revenue, quality or employee performance from incomplete data.

A foundation for deeper reporting

Route completion, drive time, callbacks and revenue attribution can be added after their data contracts and definitions are tested across real customer workflows.

What it changes for your business

No demo crew

The production screen uses real tenant members and time records, never browser-local sample technicians.

Tenant scoped

Workspace authorization and row-level security keep another contractor's crew data out of the report.

Explainable math

Utilization is a visible ratio of job hours to shift hours rather than an opaque composite grade.

Useful empty states

If no time has been logged, the report says so instead of manufacturing a successful-looking dashboard.

Frequently asked questions

What technician reporting is available today?+

Owners can review each technician's visits, clocked shift hours, time on jobs, and utilization for the last 14 days.

How is utilization calculated?+

Job hours divided by clocked shift hours for the selected 14-day reporting window. If no shift hours are present, utilization is shown as zero rather than inferred.

How do I add a technician?+

Workspace owners manage real technician identities and roles from the Team page. Each technician signs in with their own account so visits and time entries are attributable.

Does SplashIQ assign an employee grade?+

No. The earlier prototype scorecard and A-to-D grade were removed because they were based on local demo data. The current report displays measured operational data without inventing a performance rating.
