Open a visit on the field app and the water-chemistry panel is one tap away. Punch in free chlorine, pH, total alkalinity, calcium hardness, cyanuric acid and salinity if the pool is salt. Enter the values you actually measured and leave unmeasured fields blank. Check each entry before saving it to the visit.

Each reading is timestamped, attached to the visit, and labeled before or after treatment. Compare the arrival readings with the finished treatment, then follow changes between visits.

SplashIQ knows the property's gallonage from the customer record. Combined with the latest readings and ideal target ranges, it suggests dosing: how much muriatic acid to drop pH, how much soda ash to lift alkalinity, how much stabiliser to add to a pool that's burning through chlorine in the sun. The recommendations are guidance, not a prescription — the technician always confirms before logging the dose — but they shorten the gap between a junior tech and a senior one.

For commercial pools and HOAs that require chemistry records, the export is regulator-friendly: timestamped, geotagged, and signed by the technician who took the reading.
