SplashIQ Pool Care is an iPhone field toolkit for pool-service technicians and industry professionals. It combines saved pool profiles, water-test history, treatment planning, six pool calculators, visit documentation and shareable reports.
How much of the app is free?+
Save one or two pools free without an account. A verified SplashIQ account unlocks a third saved pool at no charge. Four or more saved pools require an Apple subscription.
How much is the Apple subscription?+
Four or more saved pools cost $5.99 per month or $59.99 per year. Subscribe and manage billing in the iOS app through Apple. SplashIQ does not sell this iOS subscription through website checkout, and business-software plans are separate.
Can I use my existing SplashIQ account?+
Yes. The app uses the same SplashIQ production account system, so you can verify one account across SplashIQ services. Signing in unlocks the free third pool and account-based features; it does not turn a web business plan into an Apple app subscription.
Will SplashIQ send educational emails?+
Only if you opt in. Product updates and practical pool-care education are optional and separate from verification, security and other necessary account messages. Every optional email includes an unsubscribe link.
How does AI test-strip reading work?+
Photograph the test strip and its bottle chart, then review the suggested readings. Confirm or edit each value before using it in a treatment plan. Follow the test kit instructions and verify readings before adding chemicals.
Does SplashIQ track technicians in the background?+
No. Location is optional and requested only when the technician taps the helper. It suggests a current service address that the technician can edit; there is no background tracking or automatic pool switching.
Does the pool calculator app work offline?+
Yes. Core calculators, saved pools and visit records work offline on your iPhone. Your SplashIQ account identity is shared across production services, while local pool records stay on the device unless a feature explicitly says it syncs. Use the export tool to back up or move records.
Is SplashIQ Pool Care available in the App Store now?+
The iPhone app is coming soon to the App Store. Opt in to product updates and pool-care education to hear about availability, or use the free web calculators today.
