What pool service costs in Amherst, New Hampshire
Recurring residential pool service around Amherst generally runs $140–$240 per month, depending on pool size, whether chemicals are billed separately, and how much equipment sits on the pad. One-time cleanups, green-to-clean recovery, and pump, filter or heater repairs are quoted separately. Ask Pro Pools NH for a written scope before the first visit so you know which of those are included.
With a short swim season, New Hampshire pool work concentrates into opening, a compressed maintenance window, and a careful winterization. Freeze damage to pumps, heaters, and plumbing is the biggest local risk, which makes a properly executed closing the most valuable visit of the year.
Questions to ask before you hire
- ·Is the visit price all-inclusive, or are chemicals billed separately?
- ·Which day of the week is my pool on the route, and what happens if it rains?
- ·Do I get a record of each visit — water readings, photos, and what was done?
- ·Are you licensed and insured for equipment and plumbing repairs, not just cleaning?
- ·What is the response time if my pump or heater fails mid-season?
